The 38'h Legislature will convene for its third Regular Session on Monday. It will be held at the Gov. H. Rex Lee Auditorium, where Governor Lemanu P. S. Mauga is expected to deliver the State of the Territory Address at the opening of the Fono.
Your KVKZ TV Production Crew will stream this session live, as confirmed by the Acting Director of the Office of Public Information, Aoelua Solomona Aoelua.
Last year, the Lemanu-Talauega Administration outlined their priorities in our path forward, working with the Legislature in “enacting legislation to address issues with federal grant fund awards, minimize hazards that threaten our environment, amend our tax code to serve the needs of our hard-working people better.
At that time, Lemanu released a Comprehensive Report and zeroed in on the needed infrastructure to serve the territory’s growing population.
He said improving roads, fortifying seawalls, and erecting buildings providing essential services were at the forefront of their priorities.
At the outset of the governor’s Our Path Forward last year, he noted the administration would “continue building on infrastructure plans and implementing policies that will preserve our way of life in our territory.
