57 probable measles cases, with two confirmed

As of yesterday, the number of confirmed measles cases remains at two with 57 Probable Cases identified through symptomatic diagnosis and referred for evaluation and confirmation at their nearest health center.


This is the latest report from the Department of Health.


According to the report, there are 41 Inactive Cases and 18 active from the 57 probable cases mainly children from the ages of two months old to 13 years old.


Furthermore, the report says of the probable cases there are 52 per cent male and 48 percent female.


Meanwhile, the vaccination rate has climbed to 92.3 percent of total MMR coverage across schools, including early childhood education and Day Care Centers in the territory.
