Beautiful Samoa Sales Mission coming to American Samoa

A team from the Samoa Tourism Office in Apia will be in American Samoa next week as part of their Discover Beautiful Sales Mission. The sales mission is part of their strategic efforts to re-engage with the American Samoa market at all levels, government, business, community, to drive brand awareness and confidence in booking travel to Samoa.The Mission will assist operators in developing and nurturing relationships with travel agents and businesses and organization in the Territory with the ultimate aim of attracting business in the form of independent and group travel (including those for office retreats and conferences, school groups, family reunions , and sports groups. American Samoa is a priority market and so the mission is timely as STA and Tourism Business Operators work collectively to rebuild Samoa’s visitor economy and stimulate demand for travel to the destination. Before-Covid, American Samoa was the 3rd biggest market in terms of its contribution to visitor arrivals. In 2019, there were just under 15,000 visitors from the Territory and they injected approximately $31 million into the economy. A welcome reception will be held on the 8th from 6pm-8pm for invited guests and Open day which also opens to the public on the 9th & 10th November at Sadies by the Sea from 9am-3pm. There are 7 Tourism Operators confirmed to participate in the Sales Mission Amanaki Hotel, LAVA Hotel, Le Vasa Resort, Return to Paradise Resort, Taumeasina Island Resort, Tivoli Aparthotel and Amoa Resort in Savaii.
