Close to 10 arrested in Faga'alu raid

The Vice and Narcotics Division of the Department of Public Safety raided four homes in Faga'alu late Tuesday afternoon.

Close to 10 people were taken into the custody of Police.

This was confirmed by several Police Officers who are not allowed to speak to the media.

One Officer said over 20 armed officers were part of the operation led by the Vice and Narcotics.

"We confiscated methamphetamine, marijuana cash, digital scales and glass pipes commonly used to smoke ice among other drug paraphernalia and among the people arrested were women. "

KVKZ TV reached out to Deputy Police Commissioner Terry Letuli but there was no response as of press time.
