Dignitaries arrived for the Ordination of Bishop-elect Fr.Kolio Tumanuvao Etuale

The first group of off island guests for the ordination of Samoan Bishop Father Kolio Etuale arrived in the Territory this afternoon. Former Head of State of Samoa, Tuiatua Tupua Tamasese Efi and Masiofo Filifilia arrived this morning. They were greeted at the airport by the Honorable Governor Lemanu P. S Mauga and First Lady Ella Mauga. Around 3pm this afternoon, his Grace Peter Ching Loy Chong of the Archdiocese of Fiji and Pope Francis representative Nuncio Archbishop Novatus Rugambwa, who is based in New Zealand arrived in the Territory.
Arriving tomorrow are Samoa’s Head of State Tuimalealiifano Vaaletoa Sualauvi II and Masiofo Faamausili, Prime Minister Fiame Naomi Mataafa and Archbishop Alapati Mataeliga of the Archdiocese of Samoa-Apia.
