Gov's office confirms complaint lodged against former Auditor

The governor’s office has confirmed, an Audit Office employee Talaleu Fanene lodged a complaint against her former boss, Tofa Sualauvi Su’a who resigned two weeks ago claiming health reasons.

This is according to Chief of Staff Loa Tauapai Tuimavave Laupola, in response to KVZK news questions.

He said the complaint was lodged directly with Lt Governor Talauega Eleasalo Ale.

It's alleged that Mrs Fanene levelled sexual claims against Tofa and the incident is alleged to have occurred in Apia back in October last year, seven months ago.

KVZK News made numerous efforts to get comments from Mrs Fanene, including messages left with the Audit office, text messages on her cell phone and on her social media page, but to date, there has been no response.

KVZK News also reached out to Tofa, but he declined the request for comment.

In the meantime, Chief of Police, Pouu’amea Tuaolo Supapo told KVZK news said the Police have yet to receive an official complaint from Mrs Fanene and urges her to file an official complaint with the Police so they can investigate the alleged sexual allegations.
