Governor Lemanu P. S Mauga ends existing State of Emergency

Today, Governor Lemanu P.S Mauga terminated General Memorandum No. 093 -22 ending the State of Emergency that had been in effect since Thursday July 14, 2022.

Upon the termination of the General Memorandum No.093-22, Governor Lemanu issued another General Memorandum No 094-22 which says because the threat or danger from severe weather has passed and the disaster has been dealt with to the extent that emergency conditions no longer exist, the state of disaster emergency is now terminated.

Pursuant to A.S.C.A. $26.0105, normal governmental activities including airport operations may resume effective immediately.
