HTC Olo Uluao Letuli appointed as Senator

High Talking Chief Olo Uluao Letuli has taken up the Fofo District seat in the Senate.
This was confirmed in a letter endorsed by Secretary of Samoan Affairs, Paramount Chief Mauga Tasi Asuega, to Senate President Tuaolo Manaia Fruean.
Dated June 13, 2023, Mauga said the representatives of Fofo District No.11 are in accordance with Samoan Customs, elected HTC Olo.
The County Chiefs of Fofo executed the district nomination.
Mauga said he is confident that the elected Senator will have a most successful and productive term.
Olo replaces former Senator of Fofo, Faiivae Alex Iuli, who resigned last month to serve as the new Western District Governor and was sworn into office on Tuesday.
The Fono will convene for its regular session on July 10, 2023.
Olo, who is from Leone and Fogagogo is the son of the Late Olo Letuli is married to Heavenly Annesley Letuli and they have five children.
