Dr Ledua is one of the five applicants who applied for the position that has been vacant since January after the former CEO stepped down from office. Two applicants from overseas and three locals applied.
He has worked for the LBJ for over 20 years and was appointed Acting CEO in January.
Dr Ledua recently graduated with Honors from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona, with a Master of Business Administration with an Emphasis in Health System Management. In an earlier interview, Dr Ledua set his goals to do more administrative executive roles and fewer clinical roles.
He is a member of the American Association of Physician Leaders and the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. He is working towards getting his membership and becoming a fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives.
