Lt Governor tests positive for Covid 19
Lt. Governor Talauega E. V Ale has announced that he tested positive for covid 19. During the Covid taskforce committee meeting on Tuesday July 7, 2022, Honorable Talauega told the committee that he received a positive test during his routine COVID testing regimen after returning from Manu’a.
Lt Governor also confirmed his young son tested positive for covid 19. Good Lady Marion Ale tested negative for covid. Lt. Governor Talauega did not say when or where he may have contracted the virus. Just this past week Talauega delivered a keynote address at the dedication ceremony of the new Ofu Airport Runway and also attended the Manua Flag day ceremony. Lt. Governor will follow DOH guidelines and will work from home. He is fully vaccinated and boosted.
