Man face murder charge

The Police charged the suspect in the murder case over the weekend.

This was confirmed by the Chief of Police, Pouuamea Tuaolo Supapo, in response to KVZK questions.

However, the defendant, in his 60s, has yet to appear in the District Court. The suspect was arrested on Saturday following the discovery of the body of a man near the stream next to the Fagatogo market.

Preliminary investigations by Police confirmed the incident was a result of domestic violence. Police claim the two men are both from Fagatogo.

However, this information is disputed. Punaoa Tanielu Tofiga told KVKZ the two men involved are not from their village.
