Manaia Sua held on bail of $5K over drug charges

A 38-year-old man is held on bail of $5,000 on drug charges.

It is alleged that drugs were found in Manaia Sua’s possession when he was taken into the Leone Police Station for questioning in relation to a stealing case.

Su’a is facing charges of unlawful possession of marijuana and unlawful possession of methamphetamine or ice.

According to the government’s case, Su’a was the suspect in a stealing case and was later served with an outstanding arrest warrant.

During the inventory of his properties, a clear glass pipe containing white crystalline substances was found in his fanny bag along with green leafy substances. The suspected drugs were tested and confirmed to be illegal substances.

The defendant made his initial appearance in the District Court this week.
