Miss Samoa in the territory to launch her book

Miss Samoa, Haylanni Kuruppu, arrived in the territory this afternoon to launch her book titled "Haylanni - The Journey to Miss Samoa."

The bilingual book was recently launched in Samoa, highlighting Kuruppu’s struggles, challenges, and insecurities, and she said the experience taught her resilience. Miss Samoa said what sparked her book creation stemmed from a place she holds dear to her heart, Moata’a Primary School, where she once attended.

As part of her duty as Miss Samoa, her service is to read children’s books to the students at the school once a week. Haylanni was accompanied by the President and owner of SSAB, Tofilau Fiti Lang Wai, and SSAB’s Marketing Manager, Asomua Asia Stanley.
