Nurses hired from Thailand

It has been confirmed that four more certified nurses will arrive tomorrow from Thailand.

Executive Director of the LBJ Board, Dr Anderson, said these nurses are in addition to the three that came last week.

In a recent interview with the hospital CEO Dr Akapusi Ledua said the hospital is on track to meet its objective to deliver more nurses by the end of the year. Also, the LBJ will continue to work with its partners in the health sector and education to train new nurses. They also encourage certified nurses to join the LBJ hospital nursing team.

The nurses from Thailand are NCLEX certified, and most will work in various hospital settings that offer general medical, surgical, and psychiatric care.

Three more Thai nurses arrive next week, according to Dr Anderson. The LBJ Board hopes that by the end of the year, a total of 20 Thai nurses will be hired by the LBJ.
