Police continue the search for escaped juvenile

It is now going on for four days; Police Officers are looking for a juvenile delinquent that escaped from the Juvenile Detention Center on Sunday.

Chief of Police Pouuamea Tuaolo Supapo confirmed this in response to KVZK News questions.

She said two juveniles escaped from the Detention Center on Sunday. However, one was caught the same day, while one remains at large.

The Police also suspect the juvenile, who is on the run, behind the town area break-ins. Earlier this week, this juvenile was on a foot chase with Police Officers behind the Department of Public Safety building in Fagatogo.

It’s alleged that one of the areas burglarized was the Samoana High School classrooms on Monday.

Police Officers arrived and chased after the suspect on foot up to the tramway. Supapo told KVZK they could not reveal the identity of the juvenile given he is a minor, but urges the public to call the Police if they have any information on the whereabouts of the said juvenile.
