Samoa no longer requires vaccination cards

Samoa’s Ministry of Health has amended its travel advisory for travellers from American Samoa they are no longer required to show proof of vaccination.

The travel advisory was put in place due to the ongoing emergence of different Infectious Diseases of International Concern (e.g. Measles, COVID-19, Monkeypox, Dengue etc. etc) with imminent global spread realizing the need for vigilance at our international borders.

The Ministry of Health strongly advises that all travelers to Samoa ensure that required vaccinations are up to date, especially for children below 5 years of age.

While vaccination proof is no longer required upon Arrival into Samoa, passengers are strongly advised to wear face masks at all times and take precautionary and preventive measures within the first seven days of arrival.
