Senate and House take three-weeks recess

The Senate and House of Representatives have submitted a concurrent resolution to adjourn the Legislature for a three-week recess during the current Second Regular Session of the Thirty-eighth Legislature.
The fono believes that to preserve legislative session days so that there is sufficient time to review the annual fiscal budget and adequately review and dispense pending matters, resolves that it is appropriate to recess the business of the Legislature temporarily.
The Senate and the House of Representatives will adjourn at the close of business on Friday, July 28, 2023, and return on Tuesday, August 21, 2023.
