Four candidates confirmed for the Manu'a#1 District Special Election

It's official; four candidates will be vying for the Manu’a District#1 Constituency seat. This was confirmed in a statement issued by Chief Election Officer Uiagalelei Lealofi.

He said the deadline to challenge candidates has expired.

Therefore, the following individuals are certified as candidates in September 12, 2023, Special Election for Representative District No.1, Manu'a.

Faauifono Vaitautolu

Leifitele Aliitama Sotoa

Mailo Oge T Nua

Paepaetele Mapu Jamais

Furthermore, absentee Voting for voters registered in District No. 1, Manu'a, will open on August 10, 2023, at 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.

Only those registered voters will be traveling outside the territory before September 12. 2023.
